Full-LED Facial Tanner

A masterpiece in every facet. Discover a whole new level of facial tanning with Jewel's exclusive full-LED facial tanner. This product was made to shine. It is a technological gem specially developed for huge performance improvements as well as being a fantastic energy saver. In this facial tanner we combined PowerLED UV-A, PowerLED UV-B, red LEDs and yellow LED light; the perfect combination for an immediately visible tanning effect, soft and cared for skin and a revitalized sensation. A true masterpiece!

LED ... more light!

GRAPE

With 176 PowerLED UV-A at 365 nm, we make the most of the direct pigmentation potential within the spectrum, while still showing a relatively low erythema A value. This means we can use a lot of power, for an intense tan, while respecting the standards.

UV-B

Unique! 16 PowerLED UV-B at 308 nm provide indirect pigmentation and exploit the most effective part of the light spectrum for the accumulation of vitamin D.

Red light

The skin is nourished by 68 red light LEDs at 630 nm; the most effective spectrum for active collagen production, for wonderfully soft and elastic skin. At the same time, the skin is further stimulated for a more intense tan.

Yellow light

Carefully positioned 595nm yellow light micro-LEDs have been added for a powerful energy boost. Yellow light is known to energize and help you feel revitalized. So, enjoy relaxing during a tanning session and you will be ready to face the world again!

Infinite reflections

For balanced UV exposure on the face we use toric reflectors for UV-A and red LED light and faceted reflectors for UV-B LED light. In this way the light rays are broken and diffused infinitely, to avoid concentrated light beams. The unique positioning of the LEDs also guarantees the perfect diffusion of light on the face, neck and décolleté.

Powerful LEDs, guaranteed power.

For a perfect result, we use very powerful LEDs for facial tanning. They are extra cooled to ensure optimal operation. We have spent a lot of time developing our PowerLEDs and therefore have full confidence that they will last the entire life of the product. Our confidence is so strong that all LED components are covered by a three-year warranty.

BOS Tanning enhancers

Distributed along the entire length, we have placed 10 body boosters for extra tanning power, both on the bed and on the roof. BOS boosters are unique tan enhancers, with a high direct pigmentation value that produce a super fast tanning effect.

Surprisingly, these boosters show a low erythema A value, but achieve a high pigmentation value. So, don't be fooled by these BOS, because with just 0.2 W/m2 they have an extraordinarily high tanning power.

New Premium lamps

Tailored for Jewel

We have designed a new Premium lamp model specifically for Jewel; a type of lamp that works perfectly with BOS tanning boosters and is therefore perfectly adapted to the UV emission of the boosters in Jewel. What's different? The spectrum of these lamps is distributed differently to obtain, in combination with boosters and facial tanner, the most effective and optimal synergy of UV-A and UV-B within 0.3 W/m2, UV Type 3 and UV Type 5, standard where permitted. So every sunbed has the ultimate combination for an improved, immediately visible tanning effect and soft, supple skin. Also notice the beautiful deep blue color. Thanks to the high-quality phosphor and the addition of additional blue phosphorus, we are optimally exploiting an extra part of the UV-A spectrum within the standard (400 - 440 nm) without increasing erythema, thus making the most of the direct light.

Jewel reaches a high level in terms of energy saving. With savings of up to 50%, compared to the energy consumption of the Vegaz, we are pushing ourselves beyond all limits.

Full-LED Facial Tanning

By making full use of LED light instead of high-pressure lamps in the facial tanner, much less energy is consumed.

Premium lamps

We replaced part of the roof and bed lamps with 10 BOS tanning boosters with extra super tanning PowerLEDs. Furthermore, the power of Jewel's new Premium lamps has been adjusted between 80 and 100 Watts. This is much less than normal Premium lamps for which the power is regulated between 100 and 200 Watts. But don't let the wattage fool you. Thanks to the unique spectrum, you will not lose any tanning power.

Intelligent cooling system

Thanks to the use of LEDs, less heat is generated. As a result, the fans turn on later and less ventilation is required during the session. The cooling system therefore consumes less energy and, as an added benefit, is even quieter for greater enjoyment of the sublime SoundAround system.

Pleasant heat experience

Despite the reduction in energy consumption, we managed to create a truly pleasant feeling of warmth with our PowerLEDs.

Consumption is no longer a problem

Even though the lamps age and wear out, meaning they need more energy to get the same power, at the end of their life they still maintain 50% energy savings compared to the Vegaz. This is how you recognize a true Jewel.

Tanning shoulders and neck on the bed and tanning shoulder extension

Perfect! A completely new extension not only gives Jewe an iconic look, but also facilitates the use of LEDs on those parts of the body that are more difficult to tan; the shoulders and neck.

Shoulder tanning extension

The Shoulder Tanning System features 16 UV-A PowerLEDs, 2 UV-B PowerLEDs and 8 red LEDs, just like the ones used in facial tanner. Thanks to the faceted toric reflective cups, the light spreads evenly across the entire shoulder area, without creating highly concentrated spots. By focusing each reflective cup specifically on the shoulders, we can avoid unnecessary stray light.

Tan your shoulders and neck on the bed

The bed is equipped with a unique neck and shoulder tanner and a reflector. 10 UV-A PowerLEDs, 5 red LEDs and a uniquely shaped reflector ensure the perfect tanning result. Cell phone without battery? No problem! The extension also has a wireless battery charger on top.

Surround sound

For an optimal stereo surround experience, the audio speakers are positioned centrally in the extension.

IP Control

Optimal performance guaranteed

Naturally, Jewel is equipped with Luxura's exclusive IP control (Power Intelligent system), intelligent software that maintains control of the power supply of the lamps and guarantees that the power of the lamps is constant throughout their life. At the same time, the system monitors optimal values within the 0.3 W/m2 UV Type 3 and UV Type 5 standards.

The recognized advantages of IP Control:

Increases the life of the lamps up to 1200 hours of use.

Adjustable ballasts allow you to control each lamp individually, so lamps further from the body can receive more power to compensate for the distance. This means that the whole body receives the same dose of UV light.

IP Control and Jewel

Previously, the above was only applicable to low pressure lamps. In Jewel the IP control is also applicable to all the LEDs of the device. You now have full control over all the light in the entire bed. Furthermore, the output of the LEDs is compensated; even if only minimal deterioration occurs over the entire lifespan of the LEDs, this is corrected via IP Control.

Further information on UV exposure

The unique calculation software gives us the ability to simulate and calculate complete UV exposure over the entire body. This gives us a perfect view of what the diffusion of UV light on the body looks like and allows us to determine on this basis exactly how LEDs and lamps should be controlled. So we can perfectly tune all the light for an even tan all over the body, like you've never seen before.

No tanning session is complete without wellness elements. Enjoy sublime SoundAround audio, listen to your favorite Internet radio and experience a fantastic feeling of well-being with the innovative Qsens and Xsens.

SoundAround

Enjoy a relaxing tanning session to the accompaniment of fantastic music. Three speakers, including a subwoofer, provide sublime surround sound. The SoundAround function offers three external audio channels that can be connected from the studio as desired. Additionally, this feature includes standard SmartVoice, Bluetooth, Internet radio, and a pre-programmed SD card that contains two internal music channels with studio and feel-good music. Thanks to Smart Audio Volume, the audio volume automatically adapts to the environment. When you increase facial ventilation, the volume increases accordingly. This way you will never have to miss a note of your favorite music again.

Qsens

Jewel is equipped with a finer type of nozzle, which sprays a fine drizzle on your face and body. Furthermore, the diffusion of the spray is more uniform and natural.

The new valve helps the system maintain better pressure and prevent malfunctions.

Xsens

To spread a delicious scent in Jewel we use a sachet filled with intensely scented wood chips. This sachet is very simple to use, as it can be easily transported and replaced. Furthermore, it is also more advantageous in price.

8. Better wellness features

Climate control

Each Jewel leaves our factory with a standard climate control setting of 30 degrees. In this way we ensure that the bed starts to heat up at the beginning of each session, so that the ideal temperature for well-being is reached quickly. Additionally, the lamps reach the correct temperature faster, for optimal UV light output. This ensures not only better tanning results, but also the most efficient use of the lamps.

Smart cooling

An intelligent cooling system efficiently responds to the temperature in the lounger and ensures that it reaches a comfortable temperature faster. Since the fans are activated later, the tanning session begins almost silently. Thanks to the use of numerous LEDs, less heat is created, which helps the cooling system remain silent during the entire session.

Internet radio

Thanks to the Internet connection in MyLuxura you can now stream Internet radio stations. You can easily program one or more stations through the MyLuxura portal, which any user can listen to, if they wish, during their tanning session.

Sustainability

Throughout the entire development and manufacturing process, we keep an eye on our CO2 footprint and that of our products. Sustainability was therefore a key point during the development of Jewel!

LEDs

In addition to being energy saving, LEDs are also more sustainable in terms of lifespan. All the LEDs we use at Jewel have been developed to last the entire life of the product. Where we now use LEDs, we no longer have to replace and dispose of them for the entire lifespan of the device. And this is not only sustainable, it's cheaper too!

Hot air recirculation system

With the help of the Warm Air Return system with thermostat, we lend a hand to tanning studios in heating cabins. The WRS ensures that the hot air from the bed is filtered and returned to the cabin until the set room temperature is reached, after which the hot air is evacuated.
