Usage Instructions

1. Wear protective gloves.
2. To retrieve the blade, grip the two unsealed edges of the short side of the pouch.
3. Pull one of the edges to open the seal and let the sterile blade slide out.
4. It is recommended to slide the blade onto a sterile cloth placed on a surface adjacent to the operator.
5. Handle the blade by the non-cutting side to attach it to the designated handle.
6. After use, dispose of the blade in the appropriate container for "Special, sanitary, hazardous, or infectious, sharp and piercing waste." Do not discard it into the environment.
7. Clean and disinfect the handle (blade holder), repackage it, and sterilize it.

Important Notes

1. The product is for single use only. Reuse or re-sterilization after use is not allowed.
2. Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the packaging.

Carbon Steel Surgical Blades

The carbon steel used in our surgical blades is an alloy of iron and carbon (and possibly other elements) containing a carbon percentage not exceeding 2.1%. Carbon particles provide the steel with properties of resistance, hardness, and elasticity. These particles are embedded in the microcrystalline structure of iron, blocking slippage and dislocations of atomic planes.
