Bonturi Casa: Natural Candles, Home Fragrances and Organic Teas for a Sensory Home Experience
Discover Bonturi Casa and Nature Candle on Kalindra.it: natural scented candles, home fragrances, room sprays and organic herbal teas designed to turn everyday moments into experiences dedicated to your home and yourself.
A home is not defined by furniture alone. Fragrance, light, colour, flavour and everyday rituals all contribute to its atmosphere. This concept lies at the heart of Bonturi Casa and Nature Candle, bringing together natural scented candles, home fragrance diffusers, room sprays and organic herbal teas. The brand states that its candles are handcrafted in Italy using 100% vegetable wax.
Natural scented candles: light meets fragrance
Nature Candle by Bonturi Casa scented candles combine a decorative element with an olfactory experience. According to the manufacturer, they are handcrafted in Italy using 100% vegetable wax.
Lighting a candle can immediately change the perception of a room: the light becomes softer while fragrance helps define the atmosphere of living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and other spaces.
Nature Candle offers different fragrance collections, allowing scents to be selected according to season, room and personal preference. Its catalogue includes collections such as Dolomiti, Amati, Essenza, Leiè, Atelier, Mediterraneo and Le Giare.
Home fragrances: creating an olfactory identity
A home fragrance can become part of a home's identity. Diffusers and room sprays offer different ways of introducing fragrances into interior spaces.
The Nature Candle range includes both home fragrance diffusers and room sprays, complementing scented candles with alternative fragrance formats.
Not every room needs to smell the same. Living areas, entrances, bedrooms and bathrooms can be interpreted through different fragrances, creating an individual olfactory journey through the home.
Organic herbal teas: the ritual continues in the cup
Bonturi Casa extends the home experience through the Bio per Te organic herbal tea collection by Nature Candle. The brand states that these teas are produced according to controlled organic processes certified by Bioland.
Herbal tea introduces a different dimension to the home ritual. It is no longer only about the atmosphere around us but also about creating a personal moment.
A scented candle, a carefully selected home fragrance and a cup of herbal tea can bring scent, taste, light and atmosphere together in a single experience.
Home, nature and everyday rituals
The connection between different product categories is central to the Bonturi Casa concept. Natural candles, home fragrances and organic herbal teas can all be seen as elements of the same experience: paying greater attention to our spaces and everyday moments.
The semantic relationship between home, fragrance, nature, atmosphere, vegetable wax, scents, organic herbal teas and daily rituals places these products within a broader lifestyle context.
These products may also become gift ideas or be used in professional environments such as hospitality businesses, beauty centres, gift stores and herbal shops. Nature Candle itself identifies several professional retail sectors for its collections.

Interview with Franco Bonturi: Bonturi Casa and the Art of Sensory Living
This time, in the K Air 79 lounge, we meet Franco Bonturi, founder of Bonturi Casa, to discover the ideas and entrepreneurial vision behind Nature Candle, natural scented candles, home fragrances and organic herbal teas.
Three apparently different product worlds connected by one idea: turning everyday gestures into sensory experiences involving fragrance, light, taste and atmosphere.

I would begin with the idea that we never wanted simply to create objects. We wanted to develop products capable of becoming part of people's everyday lives. A candle, a home fragrance or an herbal tea may seem very different, but they have something in common: each can accompany a moment. Bonturi Casa was created precisely to give value to those moments.

When we stopped thinking exclusively in terms of product categories. If we look at the products, we see three different sectors; if we look at the experience, a common thread emerges. Fragrance engages our sense of smell, a candle introduces light as well, while herbal tea adds taste and ritual. That relationship is what interests us.

There is no absolute rule. Sometimes everything begins with a fragrance note; at other times with a place or a sensation we want to communicate. The most interesting work comes afterwards: transforming that intuition into something that can also be recognised and appreciated by someone who has never experienced the original inspiration.

A territory inevitably leaves its mark. Forests, herbs, flowers, seasons and landscapes create a powerful olfactory memory. It is not simply about reproducing the scent of a place, but trying to communicate its atmosphere and sensations. Some Nature Candle collections have developed precisely from this relationship with the Dolomite landscape.

It is probably one of the most fascinating aspects of our work. A memory does not have a formula. You have to work through associations: one note may recall a forest, another something familiar, another a particular season. Then you have to find balance. Home...

Very important, because the name is the first invitation to enter that product's world. It should create curiosity, but above all it must remain consistent with what the customer will discover afterwards. Naming, fragrance, packaging and sensory experience should all tell the same story.

Understanding trends is important, but constantly chasing them can make a brand less recognisable. We prefer to observe change and interpret it through our own identity. A collection should have a reason to exist even after a particular trend has passed.

Knowing when to stop. You could continue changing a product almost indefinitely. Eventually, however, you have to determine whether there is balance between the original idea, sensory experience, aesthetics and perceived quality. When those elements begin to speak the same language, the product is ready to meet the public.

They are extremely important because they observe our products from perspectives different from ours. Retailers understand what attracts attention and which questions customers ask; consumers show us how a product actually becomes part of everyday life. Listening does not mean designing by survey. It means recognising useful signals for evolution.

It means consistency. A logo is not enough, and neither is attractive packaging. The product, presentation, quality, service and brand communication must all move in the same direction. Recognition develops when customers encounter that consistency repeatedly.

It is often the customer's first physical contact with the product, so it carries significant responsibility. Packaging must protect and communicate the product while anticipating the experience inside. I consider packaging an integral part of product development, not something to add at the end.

I believe so. Our lives move very quickly, and perhaps for that reason simple gestures are becoming more valuable. Lighting a candle, choosing a particular fragrance or preparing an herbal tea can mark a transition in the day. Something does not have to be extraordinary to become meaningful; often it is the attention we give to a gesture that makes the difference.

It should communicate elegance without becoming intrusive. I would imagine something clean and sophisticated, with an initially fresh character followed by warmer, more enveloping notes. Inside a private jet cabin, fragrance should not dominate the experience; it should discreetly contribute to comfort and identity.

I would start with the moment rather than the product. An evening flight suggests a change of pace after the day. I would therefore choose something delicate and pleasant, served almost as an onboard ritual. Presentation matters too: cup, temperature, aroma and atmosphere should work together.

I would like to continue expanding the project without losing its identity. Growth does not necessarily mean multiplying products. It means finding new occasions where the brand has something authentic to say. If we can innovate while preserving quality, consistency and recognition, we will be moving in the right direction.
Closing statement
From the K Air 79 lounge, our conversation with Franco Bonturi leaves us with a clear idea: a natural scented candle, a home fragrance or an organic herbal tea gains greater meaning when it stops being simply a product and becomes part of an experience. Bonturi Casa starts with the senses to tell a broader story about the value of the small moments we choose to dedicate to ourselves and to the spaces in which we live.
