This natural mud from the Dead Sea is an alluvial deposit composed of residue of organic substances and algae mixed with mineral salts. It is composed of tiny, insoluble carbonate grains, in a rich mineral solution. It also contains bituminous substances and hormones that originate from the few algae present in the waters of the sea. The significant absorption capacity of the mud, once it penetrates in depth through the pores of the skin, is able to completely remove the waste products that impede the skin nourishment process. By “reverse osmosis”, the minerals contained in the mud nourish the skin and restore vitality and freshness. In addition to its therapeutic benefits in the stimulation of blood circulation, mud is excellent for softening dry skin on the knees, elbows and even the scalp. Equally important are its soothing, relaxing, stimulating, pain-relieving, keratinising, keratolytic and detoxifying effects, as well as its ability to combat free radicals.
