Description
Introduction at will
Alpine wildflower honey is characterized by the spontaneous flora of the Alps and exhibits less variability than its cousin, Millefiori.
Flavor: The flavor recalls the scents of rhododendron, white asphodel, gentian, and forget-me-not, typical of the Alps.
Origin: Harvest takes place in the Alps and pre-Alpine areas, generally from 800 meters above sea level to 1,500 meters above sea level.
Harvest Season: Harvest takes place between July and August, when the Alpine landscape reveals its full essence.
Beneficial Properties: Like other honeys, this multi-flower honey reflects the properties of the plants from which the bees collect nectar, generally antibacterial and antiseptic.
Food Use: It can be used in a wide variety of culinary combinations. It is a delicate honey and pairs perfectly with mountain cheeses.
